Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
SXi provide end-to-end vulnerability assessment that includes penetration testing focused on technology as well as social engineering - an exploit of human vulnerabilities. SXi consultants begin with customer interviews to discuss what assets customers have, what the objectives they've already set and what controls (technology, people and process) they've already implemented to protect the assets. Consultants will review the objectives and existing controls and give recommendation whether the controls should be modified, or/and need to be added (hardening may be part of the recommendation).
System Hardening for network devices and servers.
Out of the box most Operating System and Network Devices are configured for functionality rather than security. For this reason, most operating system needs hardening to minimize the possibility of system compromise. SXi provides OS hardening for MS Windows, Unix, Linux and also network devices such as firewall, router and switches.
Forensic Analysis (of a compromised system)
In most cases an owner does not realize their systems have been compromised, do not know how to evaluate the extent of the damage or how to prevent future break-in. SXi help customers detect the security breech event and complete a forensic analysis to asses the level of damage before hardening the system.
